The Eurolyser smart (Single Methode Automated Reading Technology) is the first Point of Care mini analyser, intelligently combining well estabalished wet chemistry know how with state of the art LED technology. The smart is an open chemistry platform for point-of-care testing. The system is based on well-established and reliable wet chemistry applications known from large-scale laboratory instruments.

It is especially suited for parameters which:

• have a low volume and are therefore not economically apllicable on large-scale laboratory systems
• are unstable (not suited for sample material transport)
• time critical - in terms of urgent patient treatment
• are cost-prohibitive on already existing POC systems (due to expensive cartridge technology)
• need to be measured in point-of-care environment with the same accuracy as on large-scale systems

 

 

For the first time the smart analyser combines the most important advantages of patient near „on the spot“ testing: speed, immediate patient feedback and higher productivity in the doctors office as well as in hospital laboratories. As a result the cost of the entire test procedure are reduced dramatically as are the cost for therapy. Hence smart users and patients appreciate the machines unique features. The analyser is extremely compact and will fit into practically any laboratory
